The Cucuteni Neolithic Art Museum
Situated on 3rd Stefan cel Mare Street and opened in June 2005, the Exhibition of the first Cucuteni Museum in Romania offers visitors a comprehensive view of decorative and figurative art from the most important Neolithic cultures of southeastern Europe. The museum has three rooms structured on two levels and a safe deposit, which houses about 800 pieces belonging to all phases and stages of development of the cultural Precucuteni-Cucuteni-Tripolie: monochrome, duotone, trichrome painted pottery, or incised pottery, anthropomorphic, zoomorphic or ovimorph and ornitomorph figurative fine art objects, carved or polished bone tools, stone or Silex, bronze, gold and bone jewelry.
