WE PROMOTE THE GREEN TOURISM

 

Piatra Neamt is a mountain town in north-eastern Romania, being one of the oldest cities in Moldova with an age of 2000 years (a former Dacian place). The town of 105,000 inhabitants in 2006, Neamt county residence because of its architectural beauty and relief gained the title of the Pearl of Moldavia.

Surrounded by Cozla mountains, Cernegura, Bâtca Doamnei and Pietricica, the town near Bistrita banks, Piatra Neamt is a little paradise and aptly named Pearl of Moldavia. The city enjoys all the advantages of a unique nature, a temperate continental climate with short summers, cool and pleasant, long autumns, winters without major frosts and snow in abundance. With such a natural setting, with easy connections to all points of the compass, Piatra Neamt has become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Romania. Mixture of history, culture and spirituality, the city became a tourist resort aiming to be in a few years a tourist destination point.
